THE SCHOOL was founded on 19 September 1995, to develop children into contributing citizens of tomorrow. It grew out of the erstwhile Assembly of God Church School (1985-1995). This is a co- educational English Medium institution run by the Calcutta Christian Schools Society, in a building provided by Coal India Limited, Dankuni, with presiding Bishop of the Bengal Regional Conference, The Methodist Church in India, as the Chairman of its management.

AIMS
The school aims at an all-round education along with Christian principles towards excellence, helping boys and girls to become contributing individuals to the nation. Every student is expected to participate in school service through the School's Social Service Club, where they must contribute selflessly and through the Interact Club of the school. It is compulsory for all students to speak in English during school hours and be fluent in it.

ADMISSION PERIOD
October-November

COURSES
The academic year starts from April. This school enrolls children into the Lower Nursery class (age 3+). Thereafter, Upper Nursery (age 4+), then the Kindergarten level (age 5+), classes progresses to ICSE level (Class 10).

This school is permanently affiliated to the Council at Delhi for ICSE classes and for the ISC level (+2). Classes 11 and 12 has three streams > Science, Humanities (Arts) and Commerce.
Besides English, Bengali, Hindi and Lushai are also taught as Second Languages.
Bible Studies and Value Education are also an integral part of school education. It is an eco-friendly school.

ATTENDANCE
A minimum of 75% attendance over the year is mandatory, failing which the child may have to repeat the class. Children of classes 9 to 12 must acquaint themselves with the Council Rules in this regard.

TIMING
Lower Nursery to Class 3 : Morning Section 08:00 to 10:50
Class 4 to class 12 : Day Section 10:40 to 16:30
Office-09:00 to 16:00 (closed for lunch 13:00 to 14:00)

The School Complex is spread over two acres of land area. It belongs to the Dankuni Coal Complex, South Eastern Coalfields Limited under Coal India Limited, Ministry of Coal (Govt. of India).

OFFICE
In every progressive organization the office plays a very vital role. Keeping this in mind, we have made our office function in a very modernized and systematic way, by introducing single window system and air-conditioning facilities, in order to cater to the demands of the present-day guardians and students very efficiently. The office is well furnished and all the office staff are provided with one computer each. The accounts and students’ information are totally computerized.
